Having a bit of trouble trying to figure out how to make changes to the footer to include a hyperlinked website name, and links for privacy policy and terms & conditions page. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks very much.

For the hyperlinked website name, you are referring to the name in the copyright area? If you are wanting to link to your same website, I would advise against this, but to add a link, you would have to modify the site-footer.php code for this and hardcode a link into it….long story short, it can be done, but I would not recommend it as it’s kind of bad practice now unless you need to link it to an external source.

For the Privacy Policy, terms, etc., you are wanting to know how to make a menu for that? If so, this tutorial will help:

When you create your pages for privacy, terms, etc., you can drag those pages into your Footer Menu.

I’m going to assume you know how to create menus in WordPress?

Thanks very much Andre, and yes I do know how, and no I would not want to place a link to the same site there.
    Thanks again for your help.
