    Hi,

    When the following css is used, the padding gets stripped out.

    .rcorners1 {
    border-radius: 25px;
    background-color: #060;
    padding: 25px;
    width: 80%;
    color:#FFF
    }

    I would like to have two of these side by side that stack vertically when viewed on a phone.

    Thanks,
    -Janette

    This worked for the stackable divs:

    #rounded-container {
    width:100%;
    overflow: hidden;
    }
    #one {
    width:50%;
    float:left;
    }
    #two {
    width:50%;
    float:right;
    }
    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px)
    {
    #one, #two
    {
    display: block;
    float: none;
    width: 100%;
    padding: 20px 0;
    }
    }

    html:

    content here
    content here

    But I still cannot get the green rounded box with white text to work…

    In your html, where is your class “rcorners1” being used? That is where your colours are.

    I placed them in the child-theme style sheet.

    thanks

    I meant with your HTML code:

    [code]

    content here
    content here

    [/code]

    …that class is not being used that contains the colours.

    The actual code is:

    We are a diverse group of people:

    • different ages,
    • different walks of life
    • different dog sports.

    We share one common passion…

    the devotion and dedication to our beloved breed, the Golden Retriever!Whether your interest is:

    • Conformation,
    • Hunting,
    • Agility,
    • Obedience,
    • Therapy-Dogs or
    • just enjoy having fun with your pet,

    This is the work in progress. These are 2 potential home pages:

    THE GARDEN STATE GOLDEN RETRIEVER CLUB

    http://gsgrc.org/welcome/home-2-2/

    It’s a little rough right now… trying to refine.

    I’m not sure how much I can really help you on this one because this falls under customization, which really isn’t included in theme support.

    I did look through your code HTML and CSS, and everything appears to be correct, so this is one of those things where you have to go back in and make refinements. However, I just looked at your page’s source code and nowhere do I see your “rcorner1” classes being used.

    Okay, thank you. I had to remove it because the client was looking at it and it looked bad (no padding)… I’ll figure it out.

    Thank you so much for all your help!

    No worries…check your code though because when I looked at your source code from the browser, I didn’t see your rcorners1 class being used, hence no padding and no colours being applied.

    What browser are you using? Do you use the webmaster tools that comes with some of them? IF not, it’s a great way to troubleshoot and test code. I prefer Chrome and it’s webmaster tools F12
