When the following css is used, the padding gets stripped out.
I would like to have two of these side by side that stack vertically when viewed on a phone.

This worked for the stackable divs:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px)
padding: 20px 0;
html:content herecontent here
But I still cannot get the green rounded box with white text to work…9 December, 2015 at 9:49 pm #2390
In your html, where is your class “rcorners1” being used? That is where your colours are.9 December, 2015 at 9:57 pm #2391
I placed them in the child-theme style sheet.

I meant with your HTML code:
[code]content herecontent here
…that class is not being used that contains the colours.9 December, 2015 at 10:07 pm #2393
The actual code is:

I’m not sure how much I can really help you on this one because this falls under customization, which really isn’t included in theme support.
I did look through your code HTML and CSS, and everything appears to be correct, so this is one of those things where you have to go back in and make refinements. However, I just looked at your page’s source code and nowhere do I see your “rcorner1” classes being used.10 December, 2015 at 12:13 am #2397
Okay, thank you. I had to remove it because the client was looking at it and it looked bad (no padding)… I’ll figure it out.
Thank you so much for all your help!

No worries…check your code though because when I looked at your source code from the browser, I didn’t see your rcorners1 class being used, hence no padding and no colours being applied.
What browser are you using? Do you use the webmaster tools that comes with some of them? IF not, it’s a great way to troubleshoot and test code. I prefer Chrome and it’s webmaster tools F12
